Shops Howard has been cooking her whole life. As the oldest of six children, Shops honed her culinary skills as a sous chef in her mother’s kitchen. After a brief flirtation with a career in law, Shops dropped out of the rat race and began to test unique recipes on her children, family, and friends.
In 2008, Shops decided to make her passion for food into a career. Since opening the Supper Shop, she has catered dozens of events and delivered hundreds of entrees across the Boston area. Shops is also a member of and local coordinator for Women’s Chefs and Restauranteurs. Now that cooking is her career, Shops has taken to tennis, choral music, and gardening– as if her days weren’t hectic enough!
